Develop and de-risk novel systems in 3D printers for part quality monitoring in latest Markforged printers, including early-stage hardware selection, design, testing, and initial software proof of concept in Python.

Develop various methods to improve the 3D printing accuracy in Metal X printers. Successfully designed method to improve printer skew from 2 deg to within 0.1 deg. Developed method to improve Markforged metal 3D printing dimensional accuracy from 0.3% to within 0.05%.

Develop 2D slicers from STL files to provide print head pathing and extrusion control for Piezo dispensing technology. Increased metal printing speed from 5cc/hr to 60cc/hr.
